Anyone that is into the independent rock scene in Barcelona, eventually ends up socializing with the intellectual fashion chicks that hang out at Manchester Bar. If you're into the art school girl that listens to The Smiths, this is a place you can't miss. The relaxed atmosphere makes it really easy to start up a conversation and music selection is a great ice breaker.
If you're in Barcelona tonight, you don't want to miss Manchester Bar's anniversary at Apolo Club. The place will be packed, come before 1.30am if you want to get in for free. It's going to be one ofthose wild nights!
For the sophisticated Hip-Hop crowd, tonight at Hyde Club the Finest Night People is the place to go. The Club has an unique environment and an exclusive decoration put together by Ernest Gonzalez. They do have a strict door policy, so press the shirt and shine up the shoes.
If you walk a few minutes in any street of Barcelona, you'll notice there are beautiful girls everywhere, but if you go out that same night you'll also notice that Some places are hot, some places are not and .. Some places are just of the chart burning with 10's. Anyone that as visited this city can tell you that you can find thousands of bars and hundreds of clubs, a lot of them listed in the mainstream guide books, that are a complete waste of time if your goal is to score on a night out in Barcelona. I'm not even talking about the dozens of venues where you pay 15 euros to get in, only to find out that there are 10 guys per each girl or, more often, that is completely empty and it will stay that way for the rest of the night. I'm talking about choosing a place that fits you, whether you're a guy in a suit or a backpacker and hitting that venue at the right time, with the right attitude, to make sure you really get lucky in BCN.
Of course this is a theme that will run through all the posts in this blog and I will give you specific details on strategies and places that will skyrocket your chances of having the night of your life, so take this as an introduction with a few precious tips that will make a huge difference on the way you experience Barcelona.
Keep in mind that you will a do a lot better if you also choose the type of venue that as the type of girls that you really want. Urban tribes are big thing in Barcelona - gothic girls and blond party girls will not be find in the same place!

Last week Barcelona celebrated it’s 2nd edition of The Brandery- a replacement for Bread and Butter fashion week, which previously was held in Barcelona. The amazing B&B was held here for about 8 years and left a lot of memories of fashion parties and events that are now back in town. For a week, an already packed city got an extra boost of beautiful people from the international fashion circus. As you can imagine, if you are planning to visit the city, this is a pretty exciting time to be here. Unfortunately this website wasn't ready on time for me to give you the tip for this event, but more will come and you'll know in advance where & when with some extra tips on how to gain access to those exclusive parties where all the action is.
One of the first things you should know about Barcelona: What makes this such an amazing city is much more than the local breeding of Spanish and Catalan cultures, it's what the rest of all the european cultures have brought to the catalan metropolis this last decade. Barcelona is still the charming and cosmopolitan port town on the shores of the Mediterranean sea. But thanks to a vibrant crowd of students, artists and creative professionals from all over Europe, Barcelona is also the most international city in Spain. Barcelona is now considered one of the world's most exciting cities to life in, ranking in the top positions of all the "Best quality of life" surveys done by the main bussiness and entertainment magazines. Recently AskMen's anual report of "Best Cities To Live In 2009", a report that considers factors such as "Dating & Sex", ranked Barcelona as the #2, with good reasons for the top position.

What i'm trying to say is: If you know where to go and some basic insider tips to make your life easier and avoid tourist traps, it's impossible to come to Barcelona and not get laid.
